yummy diaper cake

So recently my friend Maria (who just happens to be my VT'ing partner) and I decided to throw a baby shower for our good friend Sara (who we actually get to VT) ~ good stuff huh?!

I decided last minute that I would utilize some of the newborn diapers I had on hand and came up with this cake to use as a decoration/gift for the shower. I thought it turned out pretty cute considering I had never done something like this before. There are some great tips online on how to make one and so that always helps as well.

A bit o' sunshine

We actually had sunshine about a week ago and so we went to a park with our good friends (who happened to just get a nice new camera) so I thought I would share a few of the 150 pics I took in those couple of hours. I am glad it is spring but can't wait for summer!
