We had the opportunity to head up north for the temple open house in Langley, BC. The boys didn't know my sister was coming as we picked her up at the airport on our way out. Our friends the Angell's were able to go the same time as us so that was fun too.
It was well worth the trip. I wish we could have stayed in the temple longer but it was quite busy when we were there and they kept you moving at a pretty good pace.
We did make a trip into downtown Vancouver but really the only two things worth making mention of was seeing this seal (that of course wakely spotted first) and getting to eat some of my favorite food ~ good ol' fries and gravy... yum yum!
It is a really good thing I don't live in Canada - can you imagine how many calories are in this?!!!
