doing our part

So, my very prego friend and I (along with our 2 youngster's) were out 'n' about yesterday when we witnessed an accident. Actually, it ended up turning into a hit and run.
A semi in front if us turned left and completely missed the mark. He went over the median and smashed in the corner of an SUV with it's trailer. We thought he was pulling over when he headed into a gas station parking lot but as we were pulling over to the side... he disappeared! The guy kept driving around the gas station and was now headed for the freeway. We were in shock but decided that because the victim seemed unharmed we would go after the semi ( i mean how hard could that be, right?). Well, unfortunately, he did make it onto the freeway right before the light turned red. We were on the phone with 911 explaining the situation and saying we didn't want to get caught for speeding but really wanted to catch up to him. My friend - bless her heart - was trying to be as aggressive a driver as she could be but it still ended up taking us 20 minutes to finally catch up and get the information they would need.
When we made it back to the scene of the accident the police took our information down and as they were doing so we heard the announcement over the radio that they had just nabbed the guy. Yeehaw - we felt like such good citizens. One of the cops mentioned hearing about us speeding down the freeway to catch up to the semi - who us??
anyway, i just wanted to share my excitement for the month...

San-
Once when I was driving your mother-in-law's truck a fire hydrant jumped into the middle of the road and attacked said truck. The fire hydrant then vanished! The result was one monster gash that meant 3 panels needed to be replaced. Could you and your friend find that @#$@%**&@# hydrant for me?
Thanks a bunch.
